Matriculants Urged To Apply For NSFAS Funding

Since the 2024 National Senior Certificate (NSC) examinations kick-off, Higher{Education and Training Minister, Dr Nobuhle Pamela Nkabane, has reminded all matriculants to seize the opportunity to submit an application for funding throughout the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS).
"The applying window will close on 15 December 2024, and you'll find not many days left to submit applications. Qualified learners are urged to apply immediately to secure monetary guidance for his or her post-school education," Nkabane said.
Nkabane extended well wishes to all matriculants, who sat for the National Senior Certificate Examinations, with learners writing languages, English and Afrikaans Paper three.
Nkabane claimed this pivotal moment marks the fruits of a long time of hard work and encourages the Class of 2024 to approach their exams with willpower and assurance.

Nkabane highlighted a selection of options accessible throughout the Post-School Education and Training (PSET) system, that's open to all matriculants seeking further more schooling and skills development.
The PSET system consists of:
• Community Education and Training (CET) colleges: Featuring skills development and general education for students who want to continue nsfas status check learning.
• Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) colleges: Focusing on practical skills and technical knowledge to equip students for employment and self-employment.
• Higher Education institutions: Universities and higher education providers offering degree and diploma programmes.
